Spanning over 13 acres, Boots Gaubatz Park offers a vast expanse of outdoor recreation with a shaded playground, open-wind pavilion, and half-mile granite trail paths. Phase 1 of the design reimagined the underutilized park with new programming to create connectivity between each park feature while preserving the existing trees and wooden bridge that provide a lush, picturesque landscape. With Phase 1 complete in 2021, the park now stands as a testament to thoughtful urban planning, providing a welcoming and vibrant oasis for the surrounding community.
