Shelby grew up in the hills of Wimberley, Texas, where her connection to natural systems began with building forts in the woods, tending prickly pear “gardens”, and swimming in the clear water of the Blanco. It wasn’t until starting college at Texas A&M, where she received a degree in landscape architecture, that Shelby recognized just how fortunate she was to grow up with easy access to green space. Now in practice, Shelby hopes to cultivate landscapes that serve their people, whomever or wherever they may be, exceedingly well. 

Outside of work you can catch Shelby floating in the nearest body of water, snacking at the movie theater, or belting out karaoke with her friends.
